PYONGYANG, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) official media on Monday reported the closing ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, without mentioning the meeting between its high-level delegation and South Korean President Moon Jae-in.

The official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported about the attendance by Kim Yong Chol, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and his delegation of the ceremony, without specifying any details of his interaction with Moon.

Kim Yong Chol and Moon "stood up to wave to the players of the north and the south when they were going past the platform... Prior to the closing ceremony, Kim Yong Chol met and exchanged warm greetings with the DPRK players participating in the Olympics," said the KCNA.

The DPRK delegation is staying in South Korea for a three-day visit until Tuesday. South Korean Presidential Office said Sunday that the delegation indicated Pyongyang's willingness to hold dialogue with the United States during a meeting with Moon.
