CABINDA, Angola, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Culture ministers of Angola and Cape Verde, Carolina Cerqueira and Abraao Vicente respectively, discussed Tuesday in Angola's northern Cabinda province the creation and development of a common market of the arts, culture and creative industries.

A joint declaration signed by the two ministers indicates that these actions should be undertaken in the ambit of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries.

The intention is to annually celebrate the Week of Cape Verdian Morna dance in Angola and the Angolan Kizomba dance Week in Cape Verde.

The two officials reiterated the need to consolidate the cooperation between the two countries in a wide range of cultural fields.

The declaration also expresses the need to establish an exchange mechanism that promotes the sharing of experiences and synergies, as well as the exchange of knowledge in areas such as museum and library management, copyright and related rights, and international certification of crafts, among others.

The two ministries also intend to promote the exchange of experiences in the field of regulation of the creative industries and to collaborate in the creation of a program of cultural scholarship.
