HONG KONG, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 27.99 points, or 0.08 percent, to 32,958.69 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 32,728.51 and 33,018.71. Turnover totaled 187.85 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 24.03 billion U.S. dollars).
