BEIJING, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices closed mixed in the morning session Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.17 percent to end at 3,493.99 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index edged down 0.37 percent to end at 11,237.61 points.
