Indonesia's archery athlete eyes gold in Asian Games

JAKARTA, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian athlete Ega Aghata has set up a gold medal target during the 18th Asian Games in the country this year.

"I have set a gold medal target, and I must get it," Aghata disclosed.

He has been successful and performed maximal along with Indonesian team during the recent Asian Games test event.

Agatha has brought his team to the final of the test event in men's recurve sport.

Indonesia secures 2 silvers medals and 1 bronze medal during the country's participation in several Asian Games in the past and 1 silver medal during the Olympics in Seoul in 1988.

The 18th Asian Games is to be held in Indonesian capital of Jakarta and Palembang city, the provincial capital of South Sumatra province from August 18 to September 2.
