KAMPALA, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Uganda Premier League side, KCCA FC have vowed to defeat Tunisia's Esperance Sportive de Tunis when the two sides face-off on Saturday in a CAF Champions League match.

"This is a very tough game for us, but my players are very determined to turn the tables and win," KCCA FC coach Mike Hillary Mutebi told Xinhua on Wednesday.

Mutebi said they lost 3-2 to Esperance last week because of some sloppiness but now the players know what to expect.

The two teams will clash at the Ugandan National Stadium, Namboole where KCCA FC will be eager to register a win to brighten their chances of qualifying for the quarterfinal stage.

"We are fixing all the holes ahead of this game. We have beaten teams from Egypt and Morocco here before and we can also defeat Esperance if we stick to our game plan," Mutebi said.

KCCA FC are placed third in their group with three points, while Esperance are on top with seven points.

Egypt's Al Ahly are second with four points while Botswana's Township Rollers FC are bottom with three points because of an inferior goal difference.

KCCA FC shocked eight-time African champions Al Ahly 2-0 in their second game of the group after losing 1-0 away to Township Rollers FC.

Moses Magero, the KCCA FC media officer said the Esperance team will arrive in Uganda on Thursday.
