TEHRAN, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi warned against the relocation of terrorist groups to Afghanistan after their defeat in Iraq and Syria, Tasnim news agency reported on Saturday.

"We consider the security of Afghanistan as our own security," Sarmadi said, adding that Tehran would provide Kabul with whatever help necessary in fighting off the terrorist groups.

The Iranian diplomat made the remarks in a meeting with the Chief Executive of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah in Tajikistan on Friday.

For his part, Abdullah voiced Afghanistan's readiness to accelerate the implementation of a comprehensive document signed earlier on Iran-Afghanistan cooperation.

The Afghan government's top priorities in interaction with Iran, as stipulated in the comprehensive cooperation deal, are security, water issues and economic partnership, he said.
