DUBAI, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Air Arabia from Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will fly from Nov. 6 two times per week to Sulaimaniyah in northern Iraq, the fourth destination in Iraq, it said via e-mail on Monday.

Sulaimaniyah will also mark Air Arabia's 152nd destination globally.

The low-cost carrier, which solely flies with a current fleet of 51 Airbus A320 planes, will serve the new direct flights to Mesopotamia every Tuesday and Friday.

In Iraq, Air Arabia already serves routes to Baghdad, Najaf and Erbil.

Air Arabia CEO Adel Al Ali said "we continuously seek ways to enhance airline connectivity with Iraq, given the growth in business ties between the two nations."
