DHAKA, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- The total number of Bangladesh's internet users reached over 92 million at the end of October 2018 with addition of about 12 million new users in the first 10 months of this year, the statistics of the country's telecom regulator showed Wednesday.
Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) data stated the number of subscribers in the country reached 92.466 million, which accounts for nearly two-thirds of the country's population.
Of the total subscribers, the BTRC data showed there were 86.652 million mobile internet and 5.734 million broadband internet users in the country while rest of the connections are through WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access).
