KASHMIR-SRINAGAR-GUNFIGHT-THREE MILITANTS KILLED

A woman wails as she looks at her house destroyed during a gunfight at Tral of Pulwama district, about 40 km south of Srinagar, summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir, March 11, 2019. Indian security forces on Monday claimed to have killed the mastermind behind the February 14 Pulwama attack in which at least 40 security personnel belonging to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed. Confirming this, a senior Indian army officer said that the mastermind identified as Mudasir Khan of the extremist group Jaish-e-Mohammd (JeM) was among the three militants killed in an encounter with the Indian security forces on Sunday night in the Tral region of India-controlled Kashmir. He said it was Mudasir who coordinated the Pulwama attack. (Xinhua/Javed Dar)
