Raptors into first NBA Finals after ousting Bucks

WASHINGTON, May 25 (Xinhua) -- The Toronto Raptors reached the NBA Finals for the first time with a 100-94 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 6 at home on Saturday.

After losing the first two games, the Raptors won four games in a row for a total score of 4-2 against Milwaukee in the East Conference Finals.

Kawhi Leonard had 27 points and 17 rebounds while Pascal Siakam scored 18 points for the home team. Kyle Lowry had 17 and Fred VanVleet came off the bench to score 14.

The Raptors overcame a 15-point deficit early in the second quarter and used a 26-3 run in the second half to turn the game in their favor.

The Raptors will take on two times defending champions Golden State Warriors. Game 1 will be held on Thursday.
