BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed mixed on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.01 percent to close at 3,291.11 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.22 percent higher at 11,163.65.
